 eBooks, read them on your computer anytime anywhere. 

Access using either:

(A) via the Library Catalogue,

Read the instructions below and then

                            search the Library catalogue for eBooks.   ‚Äč

  

→   When you have done a search for books using the Library catalogue

→  check the Refine Your Search - Media Type tab.  If any ebooks are listed there

→  click on the eBook link to retrieve a list of eBooks

→  select the book you want by clicking on the book title and then the link to access the book online.  To access eBooks from home you will have to use your username and a password (available from the Library).

→  and then follow any instructions on the screen.

How to export Overdrive notes

Students can now export notes and highlights created in Overdrive Read titles for offline use:

  • On the History & notes page (under Account), select Notes & highlights for a title. Choose the Export option at the top of the next page to download in one of the available options.


     
  • Notes and highlights can be exported to Google Drive, PDF, or CSV, or copied to the clipboard. Options available depend on browser compatibility.
     
  • The following information is included when exporting note and highlights:
    • Title, author, and series (when applicable)
    • Cover image (not available for CSV)
    • Checkout date and time
    • Total number of checkouts for the title
    • Reading information, such as how many times the book was opened, the number of pages turned, and the amount of reading time.
    • Notes, highlights, and highlight colours
    • The date and time each note or highlight was made
